To ensure you never miss a sale, Yapsody offers a wide variety of payment options for both online and in-person transactions.
Please note that Yapsody does not handle your funds directly. All payments made by your customers are transferred immediately to your linked payment gateway account. Yapsody bills your account separately at the end of each month based on the number of tickets sold. (How we bill your account?)
Payment Options
Below we have listed down the mode of payment a customer can pay to buy tickets for your event.
1. Credit and Debit Cards
You can accept all major credit and debit cards by linking your preferred payment gateway. This option is available for both the Online Store and the Box Office. (How do I enable?)
2. PayPal
Yapsody supports PayPal Business and Premier accounts in most countries. You can use PayPal for both Online and Box Office sales.
Note: You can offer both a standard Credit Card gateway and PayPal simultaneously to give your customers more choices.(How to get Paypal credentials?)
3. Cash
Record cash transactions for customers purchasing tickets in person at your venue.
Availability: Box Office only. (How do I enable?)
4. Checks
Check payments are often used by organizations making bulk bookings.
Availability: Box Office only. (How do I enable?)
5. Pay Later
The "Pay Later" option allows customers to reserve tickets with instructions on how to send payment (e.g., Bank Transfer or Check). This can be enabled for both the Online Store and Box Office. (How do I enable?)
Once you receive the funds you can mark the transaction as paid and issue tickets to the customer (How to mark the transaction as paid?).
6. Complimentary
Use this option to issue free tickets to staff, VIPs, or loyal customers.
Availability: Box Office only.
Benefit: Yapsody does not charge service fees for complimentary tickets. (How do I enable?).
7. Combined Payment Method
This feature allows Box Office customers to split their payment across two different methods (e.g., paying partially in cash and the remainder by credit card).
Note: A maximum of two payment methods can be combined for a single transaction. (How do I enable?)
8. Custom Payment Methods
You can create an unlimited number of custom payment labels to suit your needs, such as "Ticket Transfers" or "Internal Exchanges."
