Finding ways on how you can have each and every Attendee Name printed on the E-Ticket instead of common ticket purchaser?
Well, your search is over, simply follow the below instructions and set it up in no time! Before we start let us give a hint on how we would be achieving it, so you have all the boxes checked.
1) Firstly we need to select the Customized Ticket Template created especially for this feature.
2) Secondly creating the Yappsurvey to get the details from the ticket purchaser, so the system sends it to the Ticket Template and gets that printed.
3) Last but not least linking the Yappsurvey to the event.
Now as you have a gist of how we would be setting this up, let's move to Select the E-ticket template:-
a) You will need to edit the event for which you need to do the changes (How do I Edit the event?)
Note:- The changes we are doing are on an event level basis that would apply to all the performances under the same event however not the account, which means if you have 20 different events, you have to follow the same changes on 20 different events.
b) Now Click on Customize which is the 4th option on the list just below the event name.
3) Now click on the E-Ticket and Choose Ticket Template 7 from the Template selection drop-down and lastly Click on "Save & Proceed" available to the top right.
Please Note:- E-Ticket Template 7 is specially designed to show attendee names on the ticket page/pdf instead of the Purchaser name. By any chance, if you select a different Ticket Template you won't be able to get the results you are looking for.
2 & 3) Now let's move to creating and linking the Yappsurvey.
YAppSurvey help's you to create multiple event-specific survey's and enable it for your event's. You can add a custom set of questions to collect additional information from the ticket purchaser's to manage your event's effectively. (How to create Yappsurvey?)
Remember you can add as many custom questions as you want to your survey and can design a logic-based Yappsurvey as well (How do I create Logic Based Yappsurvey?) however in order to get the Attendee Name Printed on the E-Ticket you would have to select the by Default question i.e "Full Name" in the question bank or you can also add custom questions such as the First Name Last Name and make it Mandatory.
By doing this, the ticket purchaser entering the Attendee names while filling up the survey will display on the E-ticket. In case, if you set the question as optional and the customer skips it while booking tickets, the attendee name will display blank on the ticket PDF.
Tip:- If you set two different custom questions such as "First Name" and "Last name", then on the ticket page it will show the First and Last name as the attendee name.
We are on the final part of the article wherein we just have to Link the Yappsurvey to the event for which you need the Attendee name on the Ticket, let's begin:-
a) Click on the Yappsurvey tab which is available right next to Customize (The same option wherein you selected the ticket template.)
b) Now Under the Questionnaire tab, you will see the list of all the Yapsurveys created by you, simply click the Radio button available next to the survey which you have to link to the event, and click on "Save & Proceed" to ensure your command is saved.
Please Note:- Yappsurvey is by default mandatory for online store and you can make it mandatory for your Virtual Box Office too by checking the BOX available right next to "Make Yappsurvey Mandatory."
