Yapsody provides you with an option to add a brief description to the ticket types created by you. The description added by you will be displayed to the customers while booking the tickets online. It will help them select the appropriate ticket type and book the tickets successfully. Kindly follow the below-mentioned steps to add a description to the ticket types created by you.
i) Select the event from the box office calendar and click on "Edit" displayed at top right.
ii) You will be displayed options like - Event Info, Pricing, Customize, etc. Click 'Pricing' and again choose the sub-option of "Pricing."
All existing Ticket Types will be displayed here. To add a description to any of them, hover over the ticket type and click the Edit icon. If no ticket types have been created yet, you’ll see an option to ‘Add Ticket Type’ where you can create a new one.
iii) You will get a pop-up window with options to name the ticket type, add a description and add pricing. Add the description and click on 'Save' at the bottom.
The description added will be displayed to the customers while booking the tickets. You can add a description up to a maximum of 200 characters, to learn what the description would look like on the ticket selection page, please follow the below screenshots of the Event Types:-
- General Admission event
- Reserve Seating Event
Note: You cannot delete a Ticket type if it's been sold, however you can disable or rename it if you want. Deleting ticket types after they have been sold affects the Event Sales summary reports and other Global reports, which will be useful for the presenters.
