Sales Dashboard will display the recent ticket sales figures and the corresponding revenue generated in the past 30 days. This information includes the number of tickets sold, total revenue from all events, and revenue specific to individual events.
Additionally, the report will also include a graphical representation of the ticket sales volume that helps you understand the dates when ticket sales were the highest and lowest.
Before you start:-
- The report shows data only for the last 30 days, for longer duration refer to Quickstats Report.
- Sales Data can also be broken down into each event by clicking on the "Event Dashboard Icon."
- Ticket Count and Total Revenue do not include Add-ons, Pay Later Payment Pending tickets, Transaction level Taxes, and Refunded tickets.
- However, it would include Yapsody Fees Passed on to the customers as well as Surcharge Set-up per ticket/transaction, Complimentary ticket counts and revenue as well as Tickets booked in Test Mode.
Now that we understand what is incorporated and left out in the Sales Dashboard, let's proceed to access it:-
i) Click on the Organization Name at the top left and select "Sales Dashboard" from the drop-down list.
ii) Now, to the left of the screen you'll be displayed the total number of tickets issued (Sold + Comps - Refunds) in the last 30 days along with the Total Revenue Generated in that period, in the middle Graphical representation as per the date intervals, and to the right number of tickets and revenue generated in different intervals such as last 24 hours, 07 Days and 30 Days.
Subsequently, the Events Section would help you to determine the number of tickets issued from the total capacity as per the event.
To get more insights, Click on the "Event Dashboard Icon" right next to the event capacity as displayed in the following image.
Note:- You can modify the event capacity or the event setup by clicking on the "Edit" (PEN) icon, and to access the online store, click on the page icon.
iii) The Event Sales Dashboard Report will show the event name, date, time, sales from the last 30 days, revenue generated, and ticket breakdown by type at the bottom.
Note:- The ticket type sales data at the bottom would display the number of each ticket type sold.
iv) However, if we add a limit quantity for the ticket types, then the ticket type card will show the number of tickets issued, the remaining, and the total number of tickets.
For Example- Your event has a capacity of 100 with 3 ticket types: Adults, Children, and Senior Citizens. Limits of 50, 30, and 20 have been set respectively. The ticket card will display issued, remaining, and total tickets as shown in the screenshot.
Finally, a few Points to remember while accessing the Event Sales Dashboard:-
- If the ticket type is disabled, it will still display the ticket card of that ticket type unless we remove the ticket price.
- Held capacities wouldn't be displayed for General Admission on the ticket type card since hold isn't been applied to ticket type unlike the Reserved Seating event wherein we hold each seat/row/section having a different color (Pricing Tier Applied)
- In case the ticket price is changed before or after selling tickets, the ticket type card will display the latest price.
- For Reserved Seating Events, if multiple ticket types have been created for the same colors the Ticket Type Card will only display issued numbers (booked count) against them, whereas if we assign only a single pricing to each color the card will display issued, remaining, and Total Counts.
