This article explains how to create and manage Global Discounts at the organization level. Global Discounts allow you to apply and manage discount codes across multiple events from a single page, eliminating the need to configure discounts individually for each event. You can create both Single Use Discount Codes and General Promo Codes, assign them to selected events, upload custom single-use codes, and optionally enable discounts to be automatically applied to future events.

Before You Begin
You can enable two types of discounts using this feature:
Single-Use Discount Codes: These codes are uniquely generated for one-time use. You can either have our system generate them automatically or upload your own custom list of codes.
General Promo Codes: These are standardized promotional codes that can be used multiple times by your attendees.
Tip: You can choose to automatically apply global discounts to all upcoming events, even those you haven't created yet!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigate to Global Discounts
Click on your Organization Name in the top-left corner of your dashboard and select Global Discounts from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Add a New Discount
Click the Add Discounts button located in the top-right corner.
Step 3: Configure Your Discount Details
On the discount creation screen, select either Single Use Code or General Promo Code from the Discount Type dropdown menu.
Complete all required fields, including:
Discount Name
Description (Optional)
Amount (The monetary value or percentage off)
Select Events (Choose the specific events you want this discount to apply to)
Discount Applied on (Select whether it applies Per Ticket or Per Transaction)
Discount Validity (Set the active date ranges)
Note for Custom Single-Use Codes: If you choose a Single-Use Discount Code and want to use your own specific codes, click Add My Custom Codes to upload a CSV file. Ensure your file has each code written on a new line (you can click the provided link to download a sample CSV file).
Important: Remember to scroll down and click Save at the bottom of the page to apply your new settings.
Step 4: Manage Your Discounts from the Dashboard
Once successfully created, your new discount will appear on the Discounts Dashboard. From here, you have additional managing features:
Download System-Generated Codes: Click the Download Icon at the end of the discount row to export your system-generated single-use codes.
Auto-Apply to Future Events: Check the box next to the discount if you want it to apply automatically to any upcoming events you create down the road.
Update Event Selections: Modify which events use this discount at any time by clicking Select Events.
