Yapsody allows you to accept payments through Bank Transfer and issue tickets once the customer completes the transfer to your specified bank account.
The most effective way to use Bank Transfer is with the Pay Later option. This enables you to verify that the funds have been received before confirming the booking and issuing tickets. It’s an ideal solution for event presenters, regions without supported payment gateways, or anyone looking to avoid payment processing fees.
Kindly follow the mentioned below steps to set up Bank Transfer as the payment method and issue tickets.
i) The initial step would be adding Pay Later as the payment method (How do I do this?).
ii) Next, to display "Bank Transfer" in the reports and mark the transaction as paid using it, you will need to add a "Custom" payment method and label it as "Bank Transfer".
What is Custom Payment Method?
They just act as a placeholder for the payment options that aren't available in the system, you can label them as per your preference, and the same would be displayed in the reports, though it doesn't mean actually the payment was made using that medium.
To set up, simply access the "Accept Payments" option and click "Configure" next to the "Custom" or click "Add Payment Method" at the top and select "Custom" from the drop-down list, instructions can also be viewed by clicking here.
iii) Lastly, once, you receive the ticket amount as per the Pay Later instructions provided, you can mark the transaction as paid using the Custom Payment option "Bank Transfer" (How do I do this?)
