Revamped Reserved Seating: How to Hold Seats?

Yapsody offers you the flexibility to reserve specific seats for your valued customers, sponsors, and other special guests. These seats, while not available for online booking, can be allocated through your Box Office account. 

Keep reading to learn how to place seats on hold.

i) Within the box office interface, choose the event for which you want to reserve seats, and then click on the "Edit" option located at the top.

ii) Next, click on "Hold Management."

iii) Click on "Add Channel" to add or create new Channel (Hold) Codes, if you already added them, they will be listed before the sections. 

A) To hold single/multiple seats, simply click on the seats followed by Channel Color, and the selected seats will get the channel color, to record the changes click on "Apply Changes." 

Note:- To un-assign seats from a channel, follow the same procedure, but click the "No Channel" button instead.

B) To Hold an Entire Row or Section, please select an option such as "Rectangular or Lasso" Selection from the list of options displayed before Channel codes and draw over the mouse cursor on the section/row followed by "Channel Code" and "Apply Changes." 

Note:- To un-assign seats from a channel, follow the same procedure, but click the "No Channel" button instead.

Note: General admission areas can only be added to channels as a whole. Unfortunately, it is not possible to assign a portion of the capacity to a specific channel.
