Overview
If you’re wondering whether tickets are still available for an event, this article explains how to check availability and what different buttons and messages mean on the booking page.
How to check if tickets are available
On the event page, the button text tells you the real-time status of ticket availability:
Get Tickets → Tickets are currently available for purchase
Sold Out → All tickets for the event have been sold
Online Sale Ended → The presenter has stopped online ticket sales
OnSale: [Date/Time] → Ticket sales will begin on the date and time set by the presenter
Coming Soon → The presenter has not yet decided when ticket sales will begin
If tickets are not yet on sale, you will need to wait until the presenter opens sales.
Ticket types appear but are greyed out
Sometimes you may see ticket types listed but cannot select them.
This usually means:
The presenter has set a limit for that ticket type
That ticket type has reached its limit and is now sold out
When this happens, the ticket type appears greyed out and cannot be selected.
Ticket availability is fully controlled by the presenter.
I can see seats, but I can’t select them
If seats appear on the seating map but cannot be selected, it may be because:
Greyed-out seats are already booked
Colored seats are the ones that are available to purchase, and which you can click and select.
Some seats are locked due to seating rules (for example, the system may prevent leaving a single empty seat between bookings)
You can try selecting different seats or another section.
Why you might see limited options
You may notice that:
Only 1 ticket is available
Only certain ticket types are available
VIP tickets are no longer selectable
Child / concession tickets are missing
ADA or wheelchair tickets are not visible
This usually means those ticket types are either:
Already sold out, or
Not enabled (or not yet released) by the presenter
Will more tickets become available later?
Sometimes, presenters may:
Release more tickets later
Open additional sections
Add new ticket types
Reopen online sales
This is fully controlled by the presenter.
If you want to know whether more tickets will be released, you’ll need to contact the presenter directly.
Accessible (ADA / wheelchair) seating
If you are looking for accessible seating:
Check the ticket types or seating map for ADA or wheelchair options
If you don’t see any available, they may already be sold out or not enabled by the presenter
For step-by-step instructions on how to book accessibility seats, see:
How to Book Accessibility Seats
If accessibility seats are not available on the booking page, you will need to contact the event presenter to ask about options.
Can I buy tickets in person instead?
Some events allow tickets to be purchased at the venue or box office, but this depends on the presenter’s setup.
The event page or presenter can confirm whether in-person purchases are available. You can also check the FAQ section on the online store, as presenters sometimes mention there whether tickets can be purchased in person.
Still unsure about availability?
If the booking page is unclear, you can contact the event presenter to ask about:
Ticket availability
Additional ticket releases
Special seating requests
Group bookings
VIP or accessibility options
