How to shorten the event links?

Sharing long event links can be inconvenient, but shortening them makes promotions cleaner and easier to share. This article explains how to do that.

Yapsody doesn’t have a built-in link shortener, but we can customize it for you. Just email the event link and your preferred custom text in the format yap.events/(Custom Text) from your registered email to support@yapsody.com, and we’ll provide the shortened link within 24 hours.

For example, if the event link is:
https://aha19yaptest.yapsody.com/event/index/839789/Performing-Arts-At-Yapsody-New-York

And the custom text is “New York,” the shortened link will be:
yap.events/newyork 

Note: The “yap.events/” part can’t be changed, but the custom text is flexible, it can be the event name, artist, venue, etc.
