Follow the below steps to learn how to Generate a QR Code for your event that can be used for promoting the event through flyers, etc to boost ticket sales.
Before you start:-
- QR codes can be generated for a specific event OR your Online Ticket Store.
- When ticket buyers scan event-specific QR codes, they are directed to the event description page. In contrast, scanning the online store's QR code leads them to the home page of your online store.
- Scanning QR codes of Unpublished/inactive/past events would direct the customer to the home page of your online store.
A) Generate a QR code for your online store:-
i) From the Box Office, hover the mouse cursor on the Organization Name at the top left and select settings from the Drop-Down list.
ii) Next, click on the "QR Code" displayed right next to your subdomain to download the QR code to your device.
Note:- Certain browsers, like Mozilla Firefox, automatically download the QR code to your device. Be sure to check your download folder for the file online_store_qr_code
B) Generate a QR code for a specific event:-
i) Login to your account, select the event you want to generate the QR code, then, navigate to the Promote option at the top right, hover your mouse cursor over it, and select Social Media from the drop-down menu.
ii) Next, click on "QR Code" and you'll be prompted to save the QR code in your device's folder.
Note:- Certain browsers, like Mozilla Firefox, automatically download the QR code to your device. Be sure to check your download folder for the file, which will be named after the event.
