In the event of an emergency where your external scanning device or Yapscan app is not working, don't worry. You can easily scan your customers' tickets manually right from your box office interface.
Follow these steps to begin manually scanning tickets from your account:
Step 1: Select Your Event
Log into your Yapsody account and select the specific event you want to scan tickets for from your dashboard.
Step 2: Access the Ticket Scanning Interface
Once you are on the event details page, look at the right-hand side and click the 'Scan tickets' button.
💡 Note: The 'Scan tickets' button will only be displayed once scanning for the event has officially begun.
Step 3: Configure Scan Settings and Look Up Attendees
Set the Scan Mode dropdown option to "Manual". This will pull up your ticket buyers' details, including their names and email addresses.
If you need to find someone quickly, use the Search field to look up attendees by their Name, Ticket Number, or Email.
Step 4: Scan or Unscan Tickets
Single Tickets: To check in an attendee, simply click "Scan." If you make a mistake or need to reverse a check-in, easily click "Unscan."
Bulk Scanning: To process multiple tickets at once, check the boxes next to the ticket numbers and click "Scan Selected Tickets" at the bottom of the transaction.
Step 5: Track Real-Time Data
The interface displays real-time capacity data, showing you the exact number of tickets scanned against your total event capacity and tickets issued.
Click "Fetch Latest Data" at any time to refresh the page with the most recent live ticket sales and scanning updates.
