Revamped Reserved Seating: How to Add Seats to the Section?

Before proceeding with adding seats to reserved seating sections, make sure you've completed the following prerequisites:

• Configure Seat Category: If you haven't configured the seat category yet, you can learn how to do it by clicking here.

• Create Reserved Seating Sections: If you haven't created reserved seating sections, you can follow the steps by clicking here.

Once you've successfully completed the above requirements, you can proceed with the instructions in this article to add seats to the section.

i) Click on "Seating" from the list of options displayed at the top, followed by "Seating Chart."

Note:- In case, you have exited the setup, click here to get to the options displayed in the following image.

ii) Now access section mode, either by double-clicking the section you drew or by selecting it and using the Edit Contents button on the top right. 

iii) When you're in section mode, you'll find a list of options on the left side. Look for the three dots (...) as shown in the image below and click on them to choose your preferred method for seat placement. You have three options to choose from:

• The first option allows you to add seats in a straight line.
• The second option lets you set up seats/rows in an arc.
• The third option allows you to create an entire row (begin with the first row and drag the cursor down to auto-add more rows).

Once you've selected your preferred option, click on the section where you want to start, and then drag the cursor to add the desired number of seats. Repeat the same process to add additional rows if needed.

To remove seats, simply hover your mouse over them, select the seats by highlighting them, and then hit the 'Delete' button of your keyoard. 

iv) To select the Pricing Category, highlight the rows and you'll find an option on the right-hand side. You can price each row of a section differently or the same. 

The Next option "Row" allows you to increase/decrease seats in rows, as well as adjust the Row and Seat Spacing as per your requirement. 

v) In addition, to assign labels to rows and seats, access their respective dropdown menus and choose your preferred labeling method.

Furthermore, the 'Start At' option allows you to designate the initial point for labeling. This means that even if you choose the label format as 1, 2, 3..., you can instruct the system to start from a specific number, such as 5. In this case, the seats or rows will be numbered starting from 5, bypassing numbers 1 to 4

Moreover, the 'Direction' tab can be used to determine whether you want to label them from right to left or left to right

Note:- Once you are satisfied with the set up, click on "Exit Section" at the top left of the Section Mode, to record the changes.
