How to Create a Reserved Section?

Step-by-Step Guide

Before you start:-

In case, you need to make any changes to the seating arrangements such as adding/deleting sections/rows/seats would be permitted until no ticket is sold and the event is unpublished. 

Let's Begin:- 

i) Click on "Seating" from the list of options displayed at the top, followed by "Seating Chart."

Note:- In case, you have exited the setup, click here to get to the options displayed in the following image.

ii) Next, you'll find a list of choices on your left, accompanied by a blank canvas for configuring your seating chart. To initiate the creation of Reserved Seating Sections, simply click on "S" and choose the second option for establishing Rectangular Sections.

Meanwhile, the initial option offers a freeform design, allowing you to craft seating arrangements in any shape you desire.

iii) Begin by using your mouse cursor to create the desired section shape, like a Square or Rectangle. Once the section is successfully formed, access the mouse pointer icon, positioned as the initial choice on the left side, to prevent any accidental over-drawing.

Please keep in mind that once a section is drawn, it's crucial to click on the pointer icon promptly to deactivate the drawing mode and prevent any unintentional overlap of sections

iv) Next, click on the newly created section, and you'll discover an array of options on the right-hand side, including:

• Category: In this dropdown menu, you'll find a comprehensive list of all the categories established earlier. Choose the one that best suits your needs. If you haven't created Categories, please click here to learn how to set them up. 
• Transform: This function empowers you to fine-tune and adjust your seating charts or individual elements within them, tailoring the layout to align seamlessly with your event or venue requirements.
• Label: The labeling feature allows you to assign a clear and identifiable name to the section, which will also be visible on the online store. You have the option to customize the section's label size using the Font Size setting. Additionally, you can determine the section name's orientation, as well as its X and Y positioning.

Note:- To safeguard your progress, kindly select 'Save & Proceed' located in the top right corner. Neglecting this step may lead to data loss.
