When using Yapsody with Google Analytics, it’s important to understand where your ticketing data is stored and how to correctly view it in reports.
Many event presenters create custom variables (like item name, price, transaction ID), which often leads to “(not set)” values in reports. This happens because Yapsody already sends data using Google Analytics’ built-in ecommerce structure.
🔍 Before You Begin
Make sure your Google Analytics account is properly connected.
👉 Refer to: How to get your Google Analytics ID
⚠️ Important: How Yapsody Sends Data
Yapsody sends purchase and ticket data using GA4’s built-in ecommerce variables, including:
item_iditem_namepricequantitytransaction_idvalue
📌 Do NOT create custom variables for these fields
