How to Find Seats Together for Reserved Seating Events

Overview

When booking tickets for a reserved seating event, you can choose your own seats from the seating map after clicking on Get Ticket button. This guide explains how seat selection works and what to do if you cannot find seats together.

How seat selection works

On the seating map:

• Colored seats = Available and can be selected

• Greyed-out seats = Already booked and cannot be selected

Some events may have one section or multiple seating sections (for example: Balcony, Front, Rear, VIP, etc.).
If multiple sections are shown, click on a section first to view the available seats for that section.

You can then select any available seats before completing your booking.

Tips to find seats together

If you are trying to book multiple seats, try the following:

• Zoom in on the seating map to see seats more clearly

• Check different rows within the same section

• Try other nearby sections

• Reduce the number of tickets to see if smaller groups of seats are available

• Refresh the page and try again, as availability can change in real time

Important to know about seat availability

Yapsody provides the ticketing platform, but seat availability and seating arrangements are managed by the event presenter.

This means:

• Yapsody Support cannot create new seats

• Yapsody Support cannot release blocked or booked seats

• We cannot guarantee that seats will be available together

What to do if you need seats together but none are available

If you do not see seats available together and would like to request special seating arrangements, you should contact the event presenter directly. The presenter may be able to:

• Release additional seats

• Adjust seating blocks

• Suggest alternative seating options

You can usually find the presenter’s contact details on the event page and in your booking confirmation email.
