The Ticket Resale feature allows customers to securely resell their tickets, helping reduce no-shows and support requests—without requiring you to manage transfers or refunds manually.

Before You Start
Make sure the following conditions are met before enabling Ticket Resale:
- Ticket resale is available only when the event is sold out
- The Waitlist feature must be enabled
- Only tickets purchased using Card or PayPal are eligible for resale
- You (the presenter) cannot cancel or refund tickets listed for resale
- If a ticket is not resold before the cutoff time, it is automatically returned to the original buyer
A) How to Enable Ticket Resale
Step 1: Open Organization Settings
Hover over your Organization Name (top-left corner) and select Settings from the dropdown.
Step 2: Enable Waitlist and Ticket Resale
- Click Waitlist from the left menu
- Turn ON the Ticket Resale toggle
- Set how long before the event resale should end (days, hours, minutes)
Example:
If you set 6 hours, ticket resale will stop 6 hours before the event ends.
B) Where to View Resale Tickets
Step 1: Access Resale Section
- Open your event from the Box Office Calendar
- Click Waitlist & Resale on the right panel
Step 2: View Resale Details
Click Resale to view tickets that are listed or already resold.
You’ll see details such as:
- Ticket Number
- Status (Listed / Resold)
- Listed Date
- Customer Name & Email
- New Purchaser Details (if resold)
Export Options:
- Download as CSV or PDF using Print
- Send via Email
- Schedule reports using Schedule Report
C) What Happens When a Ticket is Resold?
When a ticket is successfully resold:
- A new Transaction ID is generated for the new buyer
- The original ticket is marked as returned in reports
- The refund is automatically processed to the original payment method
Note: Only tickets purchased via Card or PayPal are eligible.
D) What Happens If a Ticket is Not Resold?
- Resale remains active until the cutoff time you configured
- If the ticket is not resold, it is automatically returned to the original buyer
- The ticket remains valid for event entry
v) If the ticket remains unsold till the cut off time, the tickets are returned to the customer, they would also receive an email informing the same.
