This article instructs on how to set up Dragon Pay as the Payment option for your account.
Before you start:-
- DragonPay is only supported for Philippines Currency (PHP).
- Please ensure your account is activated, as DragonPay only provides the "Merchant ID" and "Collection API Key (also called as Secret Key or Password)" required for linking with us once the account is active. If you aren't sure where to find the keys, scroll down to the second part of this article to learn how to find them.
- Offline payment methods such as over-the-counter bank deposits are supported, along with card payments including Debit, Credit, and DragonPay Prepaid cards.
- Refunds are not supported directly through your Yapsody account. If a refund is required, it must be processed directly through DragonPay Merchant Dashboard. After the refund, the tickets can be returned to the inventory using a custom payment option.
- Only full transaction cancellations (return to inventory) are allowed. Partial ticket cancellations are not supported.
Let's Begin to set it up:-
- Hover the mouse courser on the "Organization Name" at the top left and select "Settings" from the drop-down list.
2. Next, click on "Accept Payments" followed by "Add Payment Method" or click "Configure" for the Credit Card option.
3. Select "DragonPay" from the Drop-down list and enter "Merchant ID" and "Collection API Key (also called as Secret Key or Password)" to the respective fields and click "Add" to store the records.
Note:- Once the details are saved, return to the same page and click on “Test Transaction” to perform a test and confirm that the setup is successful.
B) Steps to Retrieve Dragonpay Credentials:-
1. Log in to Dragonpay Merchant Dashboard:-
- Visit the Dragonpay merchant portal and sign in using your credentials.
2. Navigate to API / Developer Settings
- On the dashboard sidebar, look for sections labeled Developers or API Settings.
- This is typically where the Merchant ID and Collection API Key are located.
3. Locate Merchant ID & API Key
- Within the API settings page, you’ll see:
- Merchant ID: Your account’s unique identifier.
- Collection API Key (sometimes called Secret Key or Password): Used for authenticating API calls. Fill in or regenerate if needed.
4. Copy Credentials Securely
- Ensure both values are copied exactly as shown.
- Do not share publicly—these are sensitive credentials.
5. Use in the Yapsody Box Office
- Paste the "Merchant ID" and "Collection API Key" (also called as Secret Key or Password) into your Yapsody Box Office accept and payment Tab Payment Gateway (Dragonpay) fields.
- Save and conduct a test transaction.
