The 'Plugnpay' payment gateway is only supported for USA to accept credit and debit card payments in USD currency.
To integrate Plugnpay in the Yapsody system, first, the event Presenter must have a Plugnpay account.
The event presenter can contact the Plugnpay gateway provider to create a Plugnpay account on the following Plugnpay official website: https://www.plugnpay.com/
Once the event presenter has a Plugnpay account, then they will need the five mandatory details mentioned below to integrate Plugnpay into their Yapsody ticketing system.
- Merchant Name
- Publisher Name
- Publisher Password
- Boxoffice Site Key
- Online Store Site Key
Below are the steps to find the Payment gateway credentials in Plugnpay gateway account:
1. Merchant Name:
The event presenter can set any merchant name of his choice.
2. Publisher Name:
Publisher name will be the username that you use to log in to the Plugnpay payment gateway account.
You need to enter this username in the 'Publisher name' textbox field shown in the Yapsody account.
3. Publisher Password:
You can create a presenter Password by following the below steps in your Plugnpay payment gateway account:
- Log into the PlugnPay account.
- Click on Security Administration.
- Click on username password configuration.
- Click on Manage remote client password.
- Here you can enter a password of your choice or can generate a password from the system.
Now this 'Publisher Password' needs to be entered in the Publisher password field shown in your Yapsody account.
4. Box office Site Key-
You can generate a Box office Sitekey by following the below steps in your Plugnpay gateway account.
- Log into the PlugnPay account.
- Click on Security Administration.
- Click on Transaction security configuration as shown in the above 2nd screenshot.
- Search for the 'Add Site Key' option.
- Enter the Boxoffice URL (boxoffice.yapsody.com) in the Domain field and click on Add Site key.
- A Site key will be generated below, with the URL and the Site key against it.
You need to copy this Sitekey from the payment gateway account and paste it into the Yapsody Box office interface 'Site key' field shown in the Yapsody account.
5. Online store Site key:
- Follow the same steps used to generate the Box office Site key, just log into the PlugnPay gateway account.
- Click on Security Administration.
- Click on Transaction security configuration.
- Search for the 'Add Site Key' option. (Similar to Box office Site Key)
- Enter the Yap secure URL [yapsecure.net] in the Domain field and click on Add site key.
- An Online Store Site Key will be generated besides the URL.
You need to copy this 'Online Store Site key' and enter it in the 'Online Store Site key' field shown in the Yapsody account.
NOTE: Additional step needs to be done by you in the Plugnpay gateway account:
You need to add the IP address 68.64.190.134 (32/single IP) to PlugnPay account by following the below step:
- Log into the Plugnpay account.
- Click on Security administration.
- Click on Transaction security configuration.
- Search for Add IP address on the page and add 68.64.190.134 (32/Single IP)
- Click on Add IP Address.
Else you need to contact the PlugnPay support team directly to remove the IP restriction for the above-given IP address.
Steps to add the credentials to Yapsody account:
In the Yapsody account, the ' PlugnPay ' payment gateway option is shown under the 'Credit Card' drop down which is under the 'Settings' > ' Accept Payment ' tab. ( How to add a payment gateway to Yapsody account )
Now after entering all the valid gateway credentials in your Yapsody account as shown in the above screenshot, you can click on the 'Test Transaction' button to perform a test transaction with a valid credit card to check if the payment gateway is configured and working correctly for your Yapsody account. (NOTE: 'Test Transaction' button will be displayed at the bottom of the same page where you will add the payment gateway credentials in the Yapsody account)
Below are the important information related to this payment gateway:
- The event presenter can collect funds using this payment gateway from the Box Office as well as the Online Booking Website.
- The event presenter can refund the transactions to the credit card user who had booked a ticket using a credit card.
- Currently, this payment gateway is not supported for partial payment.
- The Event Presenter would not be able to accept payment for a Pay Later transaction using this payment gateway.
