How to set up Gravity Payment Gateway?

Gravity Payments allows you to accept credit card payments via tap, swipe, or manual entry. Follow this guide to link Gravity to your Yapsody account.

Before You Begin

• Supported Currencies: Gravity only supports US and Canadian dollars (USD and CAD).

• Hardware Required: You must have a physical terminal device to use this gateway.

• Card Types: Magnetic-only cards (those without a chip) are not supported for swiping on Gravity terminals.

• Digital Wallets: You can accept Apple Pay and Google Pay if you provide a Public ID during setup.

Required Credentials

You will need the following information from your Gravity account:

• Merchant Name and Device Name

• OID and Auth Token: These are emailed to you when your Gravity account is created. You can also find them in your Gravity Merchant Dashboard.

• Public ID (Optional): Required only if you want to accept digital wallets.

Note:- OID & Auth Tokens are sent by the Gravity Team as soon as the account is created if you are unable to access them, they can be obtained from the Merchants Dashboard of your Gravity account. 

How to find your Public ID:

1. Log in to your Gravity Dashboard.

2. Select the Merchant tab from the sidebar.

3. Choose the correct account from the list.

4. Go to Gravity Direct.

5. Your Public ID is listed under the Digital Wallet section.

Instructions to Link Gravity to Yapsody

i) Access Settings Log in to Yapsody. Hover over your Organization Name in the top-left corner and click Settings.

ii) Add Payment Method Click Accept Payments from the left-side menu, then click the Add Payment Method button in the top-right corner.

iii) Select Gateway Choose Credit Card from the Payment Method dropdown list and select Gravity EmergePay.

iv) Enter Account Details Fill in your Merchant Name, OID, Auth Token, and Device Name. Enter your Public ID if you plan to accept digital wallets.

Add Terminal Devices Click Add Device to enter your Terminal Device ID. This is a mandatory field.

Note:- The public ID field is optional, it needs to be filled if you would like to accept Digital Wallets payments such as Apple Pay & Google Pay. 

v) You can add multiple devices by clicking Add Device again.

Note:- To remove a device, click the Trash Can icon.

Note:- Save and Test Click Save to complete the setup. We strongly recommend clicking Test Transaction to confirm the connection is working correctly.
