Yapsody’s Quickscan ticket scanning app allows event presenters to scan tickets seamlessly at the account level. With the Quickscan app, box office users can log in directly and start scanning tickets without needing to select each event name separately. This streamlines your check-in process, saving time and effort—making it especially beneficial for presenters managing multiple events on the same day.

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Download and Install the App
The Quickscan app is completely free to install. To download it, search for "Yapsody Quickscan" in your device's store or use the links below:
Download for iOS on the App Store (Latest Version: 2.4.15)
Download for Android on the Google Play Store (Latest Version: 2.2)
Step 2: Log In to Your Account
Locate the app on your home screen and tap the icon to open it.
Tap "Sign in" and enter your Yapsody account email address and password.
Tap "Login to My Account" to access your dashboard.
💡 Note: If you originally signed up using Google or Apple, you can use those quick sign-in options as well. If your app looks different, ensure you have updated it to the latest version.
Step 3: Scan Tickets
Once logged in, you're ready to scan right away:
Choose "Scan" from the options displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Align the camera with the ticket's QR code.
When a ticket scans successfully, a 'Scanned' message will appear along with the ticket details.
⚠️ Note: If scanning has not officially begun for the event, the app will display a message stating 'Scanning not started'.
Step 4: Revert a Scan (Unscan)
If you need to revert a scan:
Select "Unscan" from the bottom menu list.
Scan the ticket's QR code again. This will immediately revert the ticket to its previous state and mark it as "Un-scanned".
Step 5: Verify Ticket Status (Info)
To check the current status of a ticket without checking the guest in:
Select the "Info" option from the bottom menu list.
Scan the ticket's QR code.
The app will immediately display event details (name, date, time) and notify you at the top of the screen whether the ticket is valid and if it has already been processed.
Step 6: Look Up Attendees and View Logs Manually
If a barcode won't scan, you can look up attendees manually:
Tap the Search icon at the bottom right.
Enter the customer's name on the search page.
Once you find their ticket, tap on it to select the 'Scan' option manually.
Checking Logs: To see how many times a ticket has been scanned or unscanned (and by whom), tap the 'Details' option to view its full activity history.
Step 7: Filter Specific Events
If you prefer to scan tickets only for specific events under your account:
Tap the Settings cogwheel icon located at the top left of the main screen.
Select "Events Filter."
Check or uncheck events so the app only processes tickets for the dates and times you want.
Practice with a Test Scan
You can use the sample QR code below to test your scanning workflow and functionality using the Quickscan app.
💡 Quick Tip: If you are unable to see your event within the app, try logging out and back in. Also, double-check that you are signed into the correct Yapsody account and that your profile has been granted User Scanning Permissions.
