If you are having trouble paying for tickets, such as:
“My card was declined”
“It’s stuck on processing”
“Pay button does nothing”
“It keeps spinning”
“I can only see PayPal”
“My payment failed”
“I’m afraid I was charged twice”
This guide explains the most common reasons and what you can try.
Card declined — what it usually means
If you see a message like “card declined”, this usually means the decline happened at your bank or card provider, not within Yapsody.
Common reasons include:
Insufficient funds
Daily transaction limit reached
International transactions blocked
Fraud prevention/security block
Incorrect card details
Bank temporarily blocking online payments
What to try:
Double-check your card number, expiry, and CVV
Contact your bank/card provider and ask them to allow the transaction
Ask your bank if online or international payments are blocked
Try a different card if available
Yapsody Support cannot override bank declines.
Stuck on “Processing” or payment page not loading
If the page keeps spinning, freezes, or does not proceed after clicking Pay, this is usually caused by:
Browser cache or cookies issues
Network interruptions
Device compatibility problems
VPN or security software interference
What to try:
Refresh the page and try again
Use Chrome, Safari, or Edge
Try an incognito/private window
Clear browser cache
Try another device
Switch internet connection (Wi-Fi instead of mobile data)
Turn off VPN (if enabled)
PayPal page appears but no credit/debit card option
Some buyers report:
“It only shows PayPal login”
“I can’t see where to enter my card”
“My PayPal is locked”
On some PayPal pages, the option to pay with debit/credit card may appear as:
“Pay with Debit or Credit Card”
“Checkout as Guest”
A small link below the PayPal login button
If you don’t see that option, you can try:
Using a different browser
Opening the PayPal page in incognito mode
Trying again from a desktop instead of mobile
If PayPal does not allow card checkout, this is controlled by PayPal’s system and cannot be overridden by Yapsody Support.
Afraid you were charged twice?
If a payment fails or the page freezes, you may worry about duplicate charges.
Before trying again:
Check your bank statement
Look for completed charges, not just pending authorizations
Pending charges often disappear automatically if the transaction did not complete.
If you see:
No completed charge → you can safely try again
A completed charge → check your email for tickets before retrying
If you’re unsure, you can contact Yapsody Support with:
Event name
Email used for booking
Approximate time of payment
Screenshot of bank charge (if possible)
Why Yapsody Support may not be able to fix payment issues
Yapsody Support cannot:
Approve declined cards
Override bank security checks
Force PayPal to show card options
Complete payments on your behalf
Take card details over chat or email
These protections exist for your payment security.
