If someone transferred an event ticket to you through Yapsody, you will receive an email with instructions to access the ticket. This article explains how to find and view your transferred ticket.
How You’ll Know a Ticket Was Transferred to You
When a ticket is transferred to you:
You will receive an email with the event name in the subject line
Example:
“Your Performing Arts at Yapsody Ticket”The email includes instructions to access your ticket through the YapTickets app
Steps to Access Your Transferred Ticket
1. Download the YapTickets App
Open the transfer email and scroll to the bottom.
Look for the option:
“To access your tickets, download the YapTickets app”
On iPhone, tap App Store
On Android, tap Google Play Store
Install the app on your phone.
2. Sign In Using the Same Email Address
Open the YapTickets app and enter the same email address where you received the transfer email.
After tapping Sign in, you will receive another email containing a sign-in link.
Important:
You must be logged in to your email on the same phone where the YapTickets app is installed.
3. Open the Sign-In Email
Tap Open Mail in the app.
If you have email apps installed, you will be asked to choose one.
If no email app is installed, you will be prompted to install one.
You can also open your email directly in your mobile browser.
4. Confirm Sign-In from Email
In your email inbox, look for the message with the subject:
“Sign in to Yapsody YapTickets…”
Open the email and click “Click Here” to complete sign-in.
5. View Your Tickets
After signing in, your purchased or transferred tickets will appear under Upcoming.
Note:
Tap Past (next to Upcoming) to view tickets for past events.
6. Open a Ticket
Tap the event name to view the ticket and its QR code.
If You Don’t See the Ticket
If the ticket does not appear:
Confirm you are using the same email address that received the transfer
Sign out of the app and sign back in
Make sure the app is updated to the latest version
If the issue continues, contact Yapsody Support with:
Your email address
Event name
Screenshot of the transfer email (if available)
Our team can confirm whether the transfer was completed and help you access the ticket.
Important Notes
Transferred tickets can only be accessed through the YapTickets app
Once transferred, the ticket is no longer available to the original buyer
Each ticket can belong to only one email/account at a time
