How to use the iOS scan app "Yapsody YapScan"?

Yapsody YapScan is one of the various ways to scan your customer's tickets. 

1) To scan tickets using the iOS scan app search for the Yapsody YapScan in your App store.

                                            

 

2) The app is Free to install. Click on the button 'Free' and then install the app on your Apple device.

 

                               

 

3) Once the app is installed you can view the app on your home screen, tap the app and click on "Sign in."

                            

 

4)Enter your credentials (Email Address and Password) and click "Login to My Account."

Alternatively, you can also choose to log in with "Sign in with Google" if you have initially signed up for a Yapsody account using Google's (Gmail) Credentials. 

 

5) Once you log in to your account, a list of all the events will be displayed on the screen. If the event is ready for scanning then you can see a green light next to the event, if you tap on an event that is not ready for scanning then you will get a message "Please Wait! Scanning will begin in {remaining time}".

 

                                                        

 

6) After selecting the event, you get the list of all your attendees, you need to just tap on a ticket to scan the ticket manually, in the same way, you can Unscan a ticket you need to tap a scanned ticket. 

 

                             

 

7) You can also verify the scanning details of the ticket by clicking on 'Details' which will show you the Scan History of the selected ticket like when the particular ticket was scanned/unscanned with date and time, the number of times it was scanned/unscanned, and the user name who scanned the ticket.

 

                                   

 

8) To automatically scan the tickets, click on the 'Camera Mode' i.e the second option at the bottom of your screen and place the square box properly on the QR code to scan the tickets.

After scanning the QR code:

i) It gives a message 'Scanned' if the ticket is scanned properly.

ii) If the ticket is already scanned it displays an error 'Duplicate'.

iii) If the QR code is not a valid code, then it displays a message 'Invalid'.

 

                             

 

                                 

Note: If you are unable to see your event, try to re-login to your account. Also, make sure you're signed into the correct Yapsody account and have the User Permission to Scan the tickets.
