Considering setting up tables for your event's seating plan?
This article guides on setting up tables and implementing the option to sell individual seats, as well as limiting sell of entire tables rather than just individual seats.
Before you start this article is divided into 03 parts:-
- We will begin with creating a Section
- Adding tables, and
- Setting up selling individual seats and limiting the sale of entire tables.
Let's Begin:-
i) Click on "Seating" from the list of options displayed at the top, followed by "Seating Chart."
Note:- In case, you have exited the setup, click here to get to the options displayed in the following image.
ii) Next, you'll find a list of choices on your left, accompanied by a blank canvas for configuring your seating chart. To initiate the creation of Reserved Seating Sections, simply click on "S" and choose the second option for establishing Rectangular Sections.
Meanwhile, the initial option offers a freeform design, allowing you to craft seating arrangements in any shape you desire.
Note:- Double-click on a created section to proceed with adding tables. For detailed steps on how to design a section, please click here.
2) Adding Tables:-
i) You'll be guided to the seat creation page, where various options are presented on the left side of your screen. Locate the table editor option just below three dots and before the initial "A," then click on it.
Afterward, choose the shape of your table, either Round or Rectangular. Once selected, the table design will appear attached to your mouse cursor. Drag the cursor to the desired section, adjust its placement, and finalize the table by clicking on it.
For multiple tables in the same section, drag and click as per your preference, to disable the editor click on the "Mouse Pointer" at the top left displayed below "Exit Section."
Note:- You can adjust the number of seats for each table by entering your desired number in the available option on the right side of the screen.
03) Setting up Seats and Entire table for Sale:-
i) Next click on the created table and you'll find a list of options displayed to the right, scroll them until you find an option of "Miscellaneous."
ii) For selling individual seats, you don't have to make any changes, by default an option of "Book by Seat" is enabled.
However, to sell the entire table, select the option of "Variable Occupancy table" from the drop-down and enter the minimum occupancy to the number of seats available in the table.
For Instance:- If the table has 8 seats and you would like to offer booking an entire table, enter number 08.
