How to set up Global Discounts?

Global discounts enable you to manage account discounts from a single page, eliminating the need to access each individual event. 

Before you start:-

• Single Use Code and General Promo Codes are the discount types that can be enabled. 
• Single Use Discount Codes are generated uniquely for each use, either by our system or by adding your custom codes as needed. These codes can be used only once.
• On the other hand, General Promo Codes can be used multiple times. 
• You also have the option to automatically apply discounts to upcoming events, even those that have not been created yet.

i) Begin by clicking on the Organization Name at the top left and select "Global Discounts" from the list. 

ii) Next, click on "Add Discounts." 

iii) On the following screen select the discount type "Single Use Code" & "General Promo Code." Once you've selected the discount type, complete the necessary fields, including:

• Discount Name
• Description (Optional)
• Amount
• Select Events (choose the events for which you want to apply the discount)
• Discount Applied on (Per Ticket / Transaction)
• Discount Validity, and so on.

In case, you are setting up a "Single Use Discount Code" you can add your custom code by clicking "Add My Custom Codes" and uploading the CSV file (file with each code on a new line. Download sample file.)

Note:- Please remember to click "Save" at the bottom of the page to save your inputs. 

iv) Once the setup is successful, it will be displayed on the Discount's Dashboard, it also offers various options. 

• Click the Download Icon at the end of the row to get your System-generated Single Use Code.

• Check the box to automatically apply the same discount to future events.

• Manage event selection by clicking "Select Events."
