Email Campaigns can be a crucial tool for you to engage with your audience, build relationships, and drive conversions. That being said, in today's digital age, email inboxes are flooded with unwanted messages daily, forcing recipients to mark emails spam and unsubscribe, such action poses a significant threat to a crucial metric in email marketing - "the Complaint Rate."
Another significant metric is Bounce Rate, tracking emails that don't reach inboxes.
At Yapsody, we prioritize recipient privacy and delivery efficiency. We've set specific allowable limits; surpassing them may temporarily suspend your account.

1) Limit:-
We've set limits for Bounce Rate (2.0%) and Complaint Rate (0.1%). If you reach these thresholds, your account will be temporarily suspended. We'll issue warning emails as soon as you breach the following thresholds:
- Bounce Rate: 1.5%
- Complaint Rate: 0.075%
Note:- Temporary Suspension restricts sending new campaigns but allows other functions. Contact our 24/7 Support Team for an account review.
2) Email Notifications (Explaining Various stages of notifications):-
- Action Required:- This will be the first email notification that hints that you've reached a Bounce Rate of 1.6% and a Complaint Rate of 0.08%, we would request you to review your email patterns/contact list to protect your account from suspension.
- Urgent: Account Suspension Alert:- This will be the Second email notification that indicates your account's Bounce rate and/or Complaint rate are approaching the suspension limits, by this time you will have reached a Bounce Rate of 1.8% and a Complaint Rate of 0.09%. If no action is taken, your account may face suspension soon.
- Yapsody: Campaign Account Suspension:- You will receive this email upon account suspension due to breaching the allowable Bounce rate of 2% and Complaint Rate of 0.10%.
To prevent account suspension, we strongly recommend reviewing your email campaigns and making necessary adjustments to reduce Bounce and Complaint rates. 03) How has it been calculated?
The bounce Rate % is calculated as Bounce emails divided by sent emails, times 100.
2 (Bounce emails) / 100 (Sent emails) * 100 = 2% (Bounce Rate %).
Complaint Rate % is calculated by dividing Spam and unsubscribe reports by sent emails, times 100.
1 (Spam & Unsubscribe report) / 1000 (Sent emails) * 100 = 0.1% (Complaint Rate %).
