How to add PayU as the payment option?

PayU allows you to accept payment from UPI as well as through a Credit/ Debit card, in order to link it as a payment option to your Yapsody account, please follow the below article. 

Before you start:- 

PayU is only available for Indian currency (INR) and you would require a "Merchant Key" and "Merchant Salt" to link it to your Yapsody account. 

Note: In your PayU merchant account you will find 02 versions of Salt i.e. Version 1 and Version 2, any of the Salt versions can be entered in the Merchant Salt field in Yapsody.

Let's Begin:-

i) Hover the mouse cursor on the Organization Name at the top left and click "Settings."

ii) Now click on "Accept Payments" That's the second option on the list to the left followed by "Add Payment Method" at the top right and select "PayU" from the drop-down list.

Alternatively, you can click on "Configure" against PayU as displayed in the following image. 

Note:- At a time you can link Stripe as well as PayU as the payment option. 

iii) Now Enter "Merchant Key" as well as "Merchant Salt" in their respective field and click on "Add" to complete the setup. 

Note: The payment instruction field is optional. 

Note:- After adding the details, to ensure the setup is successful, click on "Test Transactions" enter the amount, and phone number, and follow the onscreen instructions to perform a test transaction. 

iv) The checkout page would have a Mandatory Field of Mobile Number with other details such as Email address, etc as displayed in the following image, clicking on "Pay with PayU" will direct the customer to the payment processing page where they can pay using Credit/debit card or UPI. 

Note:- Mobile Number field on the checkout can't be disabled due to the compulsion from PayU.
