Tap, Swipe, or Enter Card details manually, Gravity payment gateway supports all of them, keep reading to learn how to link it as the payment option to your Yapsody account.
Before you start:-
- US & Canadian dollars are the only currencies supported by Gravity.
- Magnetic cards (Cards without chips) wouldn't be supported to swipe using Gravity Terminal.
- Payments can also be accepted from digital wallets such as "Apple pay" & "Google Pay"
- Terminal Device is a must.
- You should have Gravity Credentials such as OID, Auth Token, Merchant Name, Device Name, and Public ID (Optional for Digital Wallets) handy.
Note:- OID & Auth Tokens are sent by the Gravity Team as soon as the account is created if you are unable to access them, they can be obtained from the Merchants Dashboard of your Gravity account.
Public ID (For Digital Wallets) can be found by following the below steps:-
- Log in to the Gravity Dashboard
- Navigate to the "Merchant" tab from the sidebar
- Select the desired account from the merchant list.
- Go to "Gravity Direct."
- Under the "Digital Wallet" section, you will find the "Public ID."
Upon finding all the required details, let's begin to link it to your Yapsody account:-
i) Hover the mouse cursor on the Organization Name at the top left and click "Settings."
ii) Now click on "Accept Payments" That's the second option on the list to the left followed by "Add Payment Method" at the top right.
iii) Select "Credit Card" from the Payment Method drop-down list and choose "Gravity EmergePay."
iv) Populate the fields such as Merchant Name, OID, Auth Token, Device Name, Public ID (Optional) and Link the Terminal by clicking Terminal Device, to record the inputs click on "Save."
Add Device Button: it will allow you to add the terminal device ID. This is a mandatory field because Gravity payment is mostly will be used to collect payment with terminal devices.
Note:- The public ID field is optional, it needs to be filled if you would like to accept Digital Wallets payments such as Apple Pay & Google Pay.
v) You can create multiple device IDs and link them by clicking on Add Device.
Note:- To remove a Terminal Device click on the delete "Bin" icon.
Note:- To ensure the setup is successful, you can do a test transaction by clicking on the "Test transaction" option.
