At times, to help troubleshoot complex Email Campaign Issues that are difficult to be understood, our Support Rep or Engineering Team may need access to your account, to allow temporary access for a specific amount of time it is advisable to create a Passcode.
Benefits of Passcode:-
i) Can be revoked anytime.
ii) Temporary access would be only valid for the selected duration.
iii) Helps prevent sharing your account password.
Some of the common examples of when you may be asked for Temporary Access:-
i) Complex Nature of the issue that needs to be escalated through multiple levels of support.
ii) An account-specific issue that cannot be reproduced anywhere else.
iii) Visual analysis of console information is needed that is not obtainable via any other method.
iv) Your system data may have been incorrectly stored such as IP configuration, Operating System and etc.
v) We may need to create test campaigns so you can test or troubleshoot issues.
Now that you are familiar with what are the benefits of a Passcode and why you may be asked for Temporary Access, let's begin to learn how to create it:-
a) Login to your Campaigns Account and Click on the Account Name at the top right followed by "Manage Profile."
b) Now click on "Security Settings" the last option on the list to your left followed by "Generate Access Code"
c) Select the Passcode Validity from the drop-Down list and Click "Generate."
Note:- Generating an access code would allow our support team to log in to your account and assist with any issues or requests you may have. This access code will be valid for a selected duration. Your account information will be kept confidential and the access code will be used solely for the purpose of providing assistance.
d) You'll now see a passcode generated, to view it, click on the "Eye" icon, just next to it you'll find a "Copy" Icon.
Share the passcode with support staff to help troubleshoot the issue.
Note:- You can revoke the Access Code at any time by clicking on "Revoke Access Code.'
