Import your Audience Contact List and kick-start your Email Marketing Campaign, in no time!
Before you start, here are a few things to know:-
a) The only field we require is Email Address. Other fields are optional but may be necessary for personalization, segmentation, or other features.
You must include a valid email address column in your import file and only one email for each contact. We would also encourage reviewing specifically this column for anything that might cause syntax errors such as unsupported characters, extra spaces before or after an email address, and missing information.
b) Maximum File Size: 10MB
c) Supported Format: text/CSV, .CSV (DOT CSV)
Now that you are familiar with the minimum requirement, let's begin.
i) Login to your Account and Click "Contacts" from the list of options available to your left followed by 03 dots shown before "Add Contacts" and select "Import."
Note:- If you haven't added any contact, you'll find a different interface to import contact as shown below.
ii) Upon clicking on Import Contacts, you'll be prompted to upload the file. Click on "Browse" to access the file from your Internal Storage, select the file, and click "Upload."
Note:-
To learn what needs to be uploaded, download the CSV Template, by clicking "Download our CSV Template" available at the top of the Pop-up.
You can also add custom fields to the file, simply add each custom field to the new row.
iii) Custom columns we added would display at the bottom of Organize your contacts section, we need to Map those custom columns from the imported file to the desired contact fields.
For Example:- If we have added "Zip Code" as the custom field in the file, we need to map it with the Zip Code field.
To do that simply click on the drop-down available next to the custom field and click on "Add Field."
iv) Now, enter the Display Name (field you would like to map it with such as Zip Code, etc,) and select the Attribute Type i.e. the response format such as Date, Number, text, etc.
Note:- To record the changes, please ensure to click "Create Custom Attribute" at the bottom.
v) After mapping the custom fields please ensure you are clicking on "Import Now" available at the bottom right of the page.
vi) Upon successful import, you will see a Notification "Imported List Successfully" posted on the Notification Icon.
Refresh the screen and you'll see the list of contacts you have uploaded.
Note:- An unsuccessful attempt would show an error upon clicking the notification icon.
