How to share user data from Clever SSO to Yapsody?

Clever acts as a repository that stores the data from a district's student information system (SIS), which is then shared with each application. 

Please follow the below steps to share data with Yapsody. 

1. Go to https://clever.com/

2. Select log in as "District Admin".

3. Please log in using your Clever Admin credentials.  

4. Go to My Application from sidebar.

5. You will see the Yapsody App. Click on "Sharing by rules or Sharing district" under Sharing Column.

Note:  If there is no data shared yet, it will display "No data shared".  Click on "Share Data Now" to share the data.

Below mentioned are the options for how to share data:

1. Create new sharing settings specific to Yapsody:

• Specific sections, teachers, students, and/or staff: You can share data based on Specific sections, teachers, students, and/or staff.
• Everyone in specific schools: Clever will only share any data associated with the schools you've selected (e.g. students, teachers, sections, staff)
• Everyone in my district: All district data in Clever will be synced to the application. This includes district admins, schools, teachers, students, staff, and sections.

2. Use Yapsody's suggested data sharing template:

This will share all the district student, teacher, and section data with Yapsody

3. Copy Sharing: Copy the sharing permissions from another application that has already been set up.

After sharing the data, you will see the message "Sharing updated successfully". It means your data has been shared with Yapsody.
